About - New Frontiers for Learning in Retirement

Welcome to New Frontiers for Learning in Retirement.

New Frontiers is an educational institution developed for retirement-age individuals. We focus on noncredit academic programs developed by our members. All groups, classes, and activities are open to enthusiastic learners regardless of previous education.

Each course meets for approximately 6 weeks per semester. Some classes have optional homework, but most classes only require your attendance.

Members govern the organization and lead the programs. Many members participate term after term, year after year, which allows us to get to know one another as friends, volunteers, and classmates.

As a member, you'll find NFLR moves well beyond the classroom walls. Many members also frequently provide volunteer services and enjoy active social calendars.
