Welcome to the Koury’s Kids Web site. We have an exciting year planned.

Fifth grade is all about understanding the world around us. We want to know how life has changed over time and why.

Here’s a look at our path to discovery:

· First Semester: Famous explorers and exploring our neighborhoods

· Second Semester: Scientists and experimentation

· Third Semester: Inventors and modern tools

· Forth Semester: Becoming discoverers and showcasing our work!

Part of the discovery process is mastering information literacy in all of our classes. We’ll learn to find, analyze, and present information using today’s research tools in our writing, artistic creations, music, and even physical education.
